Our office is equipped with the most up to date technologies to evaluate your eye health. At each visit, a complete history is reviewed by the doctor along with a series of diagnostic tests. Further testing is performed according to the eye condition present. At our office, we are able to:

  • Detect and diagnose refractive anomalies (nearsighted, farsighted, astigmatism)
  • Detect, diagnose, and treat Glaucoma
  • Detect, diagnose, and treat "red" eye and "pink" eye
  • Detect, diagnose, and treat most eye injuries
  • Remove corneal foreign bodies and rust rings
  • Detect, diagnose, and co-manage cataracts
  • Detect and diagnose diabetic retinopathy
  • Detect and diagnose hypertensive retinopathy

Dilation of your eyes is a TEMPORARY INCONVENIENCE; however, the benefits far outweigh the inconvenience. The pupil of the eye is the "window of the human body". The use of dilation drops temporarily enlarges the pupil and allows us to investigate the health of your eyes and many important aspects of your general health.

  • Cataract Evaluation and Management
If you have been diagnosed with a cataract or are experiencing the decrease in vision associated with one, you will want a complete evaluation to help determine if a cataract is the problem and if it is time for it to be removed. Successful diagnosis and treatment of cataracts begins with a comprehensive eye evaluation.
  • Glaucoma Evaluation
We at Lifetime Eyecare continuously fight to avoid the severe consequences of not detecting the disease in its early stages. To achieve an accurate assessment, we perform a comprehensive glaucoma screening that consists of three non-invasive, pain-free procedures
  • Macular Degeration Evaluations
To evaluate for early macular degeneration we look at the retina using digital retinal imaging and an ophthalmoscope looking for abnormal deposits in and around the macula, called drusen.
  • Diabetic Retinopathy Evaluation and Management
You can't diagnose diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, ocular histoplasmosis, or retinal tears and holes by looking in the mirror, since your eye will usually look and feel normal. Sometimes, as in the case of diabetic retinopathy, your vision may be normal despite the presence of potentially blinding eye conditions. Only a thorough retinal examination through a dilated pupil can detect these problems.
  • Digitalized Corneal Topography
Corneal Topography allows us to precisely map the corneal shape in order to determine good candidates for laser vision correction and contact lens fitting. It is particularly useful following refractive surgery patients to exactly see the results of the s
  • Digital Retinal Imaging
  • Emergency Eye Care
At Lifetime Eyecare we take emergency vision and eye care needs VERY seriously. During normal office hours we make every effort to accommodate emergency patients with red or painful eyes, ocular foreign bodies, and those with sudden vision changes or flashes of light.
